Elvira Neculiseanu, MD, is a board-certified physician at South Brooklyn Care. She provides hematology and oncology care to adults living in and around the Brighton Beach neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, and the rest of New York City.
Dr. Neculiseanu grew up in Moldova. She earned her medical degree from the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Chișinău, majoring in surgical oncology. After graduating, she completed an oncology residency at the Institute of Oncology, Chișinău.
In 2014, Dr. Neculiseanu moved to the United States, completing an internal medicine residency and an oncology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York. Before entering private practice, she also completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology.
Dr. Neculiseanu is fluent in English, Romanian, and Russian, allowing her to serve South Brooklyn Care’s diverse patient base. She takes a patient-centered approach to medicine, emphasizing compassionate care and a warm, bedside manner.
